John Deere is the top name in most agricultural fields, at least where the rubber meets the grass/dirt/potato field/alfalfa farm, etc. Why do residential mowers work so well with John Deere

Mowing with Green

Holy Cow! 4 Flippin Hours! How could mowing my lawn have taken that long. I felt like my entire Saturday was shot, at least my energy felt like I had wasted away after pushing my mower around the 3/4 acre lawn on my first attempt to mow my lawn in the spring.

Okay, it was the first attempt to mow my lawn, this lawn, ever – at this house anyway. I moved from SoCal and was used to two small pieces of grass, one in the front and on in the back that took me an amazing 20 minutes of mowing time. This was a rude awakening.

Not wanting to fork out money on a riding lawn mower, I was content to believe that I could get my yard taken care of without much headache. Boy did I have a headache.

That Saturday afternoon I decided to dump the push mower and investigate which brand, which model was right for me, my expectations and my patience.

There are several quality brands, all of which are more that satisfying, but being the manly man that I hope to become before I die, I wanted the best! No, the best of the best. However I am a cheap SOB and don’t want to be the top price, just the best price.

Anywho, I went on line and attmepted to compare the options; from Torro to CubCab to John Deere, I found that I had too much to choose from and that the models within the brands differed so little that I wondered why they went to the trouble. I took a step back and began to search brand.

Best Name In Mowers

I was familiar with all or okay, I was not a lawn tractor expert, however I recognized at least the logo on most of the mowers.

Of course, John Deere stood out to me and was a brand I new very well, although I did not grow up on a potato farm in Idaho, I grew up in SoCal where “who cares what mower you own” because most people had gardeners anyway.

I began reading reviews and learned a little about the company, it’s history and loved the story of John Deere and the equipment that basically has built the American Heartland. Specializing is items slightly bigger than a lawn mower, which I actually prefer calling a Lawn TRACTOR, just because its sounds cool, however the engineering conceptualized in a small, residential version of the green monters translates into ease, ingenuity and stability/reliability.

My push mowing experience on a 3/4 acre lawn was more than 4 years ago and my John Deere Tractor is functioning beautifully, with a full head of steem.
